Michael Rhodes (Artistic Director) has appeared with Tangent in Constellations, Circle Mirror Transformation, Lobby Hero, The Vandal, the American Premiere of The Good Father, The Zoo Story, Doubt: A Parable, Waiting for Godot, Subway Series, wanderers and many pub readings; Directing: Sight Unseen and The Zoo Story. Other acting credits: Looped (Stageworks/Hudson), Good People and Circle Mirror Transformation (Half Moon Theatre Company), The Dangers of Electric Lighting (Shadowland Theatre), God of Carnage (River Valley Rep) and Edward Albee’s Three Tall Women (American, Off-Broadway premieres).

Andrea Rhodes (Producing Director) is one of the co-founders of Tangent.  She produced the plays Constellatoins, Circle Mirror Transformation, Lobby Hero, The Vandal, Sight Unseen, The Good Father, Doubt, wanderers, Subway Series, Down in the Depths, Quick & Dirty, Waiting for Godot; the NEWvember New Plays Festivals, all Tangent's pub readings and The Local (short film).  A marketing/advertising director, she has worked at such notable companies as Young & Rubicam, Lifetime Television and SoundHound; with clients including A&E, Comedy Central, Discovery and USA Network, to name a few.  Currently, she manages independent projects through her consulting studio, Gig Marketing, and is a board member of the Rhinebeck Chamber and a member of Tivoli Merchants + Artists (co-director), Arts Mid Hudson, Hudson Valley Women in Business and Upstate Women in Film & Television. She is a 2017 Hudson Valley Magazine Top Women in Business honoree.

Anna Nugent (Artistic Associate) began working with Tangent with their first pub-reading at Dennehy's in NYC, since then she has appeared in over a dozen Tangent readings from NYC to the Hudson Valley. Anna also appeared in their production of Doubt as Sister James and co-produces with Tangent and her husband Paul on the web series Northern Blue (part of the Anna Nugent TV Cop campaign). Anna is a freelance actor, founder member/Co-Artistic Director of AboutFACE Theatre Company in Dublin, Ireland and owner/director of Story Haven, creativity workshops for kids. Her other experience includes work as the administrative services manager for the League of Professional Theatre Women. Other projects include INKubator at Art House (Jersey City), the Playwrights Gallery (NYC) and ESPA at Playwrights Horizons (NYC) - all helping playwrights to develop new work.  AnnaNugent.com

Paul Nugent (Artistic Associate) is a founder member and Co-Artistic Director of AboutFACE Theatre Company in Dublin, Ireland, performing in All in the Timing, Tape, Boy Gets Girl, The Laramie Project, The Glory of Living and a reading of Almost, Maine, and producing Featuring Loretta and Collected Stories. Paul has appeared in Tangent's pub-readings of The Lonesome West, Closer, Proof and Snakebit. New York theatre: The Field, The Yeats Project Readings (both Irish Repertory Theatre), Arrah-na-Pogue (Storm Theatre), Ladies & Gents (Irish Arts Center), Venus Observed (Boomerang), Sherry Maybe (Primary Stages Detention Series), The Jungle Fun Room (FringeNYC), Blood Guilty (1stIrish Festival). Regional:The Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Miracle Worker. Other Irish theatre: Never the Sinner, The Little Mermaid, Hamlet, Aoife & Isabel. TV: Custer’s Last Stand-Up (BBC). Film: various shorts. We remember our good friend and colleague Keith Teller who sadly passed away Oct, 4, 2021 after battling an illness. Please take a moment to read more about our "brother" Keith here:

Keith Teller (Co-Founder) studied acting and directing at New York University, Circle-in-the-Square and David Mamet's Practical Aesthetics Workshop. Keith was president of the MASC (Mid-Hudson Arts & Science Center), where he directed award-winning theater, including The Crucible, Extremities, Goose and Tom Tom, Largo Desolato, Orison, Sexual Perversity in Chicago, The Tempest, Waiting for Godot and The Zoo Story. He founded Apple Blossom Productions in 1985 in Poughkeepsie, NY and co-founded Tangent in 2000.  He directed Tangent's Doubt; A Parable, wanderers, two plays in Subway Series along with Waiting for Godot; he appeared in Tangent's pub-reading of Never Missed a Day at Dennehy's Underground in New York and several at the Black Swan in Tivoli. He also appeared as Peter in their production of The Zoo Story.

Greg Skura (Associate Artist) brings extensive experience as an actor, director and teaching artist. He has performed in, developed and directed many Off-Off Broadway productions; favorite Tangent work includes Sight Unseen, playing "Vladimir" in the 50th Anniversary staging of Waiting for Godot and directing the Samuel French Short Plays Festival winner, Quick & Dirty (A Subway Fantasy). Other work: All My Children, As The World Turns and Guiding Light, leading roles in a variety of television commercials, industrials, and the films: The Local (tangent films), Opposites Attract (SkyTown Entertainment) and The Lucky Ones (Brooklyn Film Festival award winner).
